While we all enjoy time kayaking on the water, we also must recognize that bad weather can sometimes ruin our fun. Our goal is to ensure the safety of all of our guests while at the same time enjoying the great location for your kayak experience.

The weather link  will provide up-to-the-minute forecasts and wind speed information for our area.  If you are not familiar with Gulf Shores, I am here to tell you that just because there's a 70- 80% chance of rain, it doesn't always mean that it will.  Most storms or inclement weather tend to pass over DCM and rain up North in Foley.  So, don't be discouraged if you see rain in the forecast because it may not apply.

The wind speed and direction can also prohibit tours from leaving.  There's nothing worse than trying to paddle into a strong head wind and getting nowhere.  If a tour has to be canceled due to high winds you will receive a 100% refund and we will try to reschedule your tour the following day.

We have a lounge area to accommodate guests if there is rain before your excursion so you can wait it out before leaving. If, for whatever reason, the trip can't begin because of the weather, you will receive a 100% refund. However, you must be present to receive the refund.  If we cancel the tour before your arrival due to high winds or rain, you will also receive a 100% refund.

During the peak heat season (June-August), we do not run the afternoon guided tours because of the high heat and humidity as well as the afternoon thunderstorms that can roll through the area.  For this reason, we recommend the morning or evening tours when the heat and humidity are much more tolerable.  Please call our number if you would like to do the afternoon tour by appointment, and guide availability only.  During our off season (September-March) the evening tours are off the schedule due to the lack of sunlight; we recommend the morning or afternoon tours during this time.
